Every dish is thoughtfully crafted, and the staff is attentive, friendly and clearly proud of the restaurant’s unique setting. And you absolutely can’t miss the hotel pool. It’s stunning, a little slice of vintage Hollywood paradise with a serene vibe and a charming Charlie Chaplin statue keeping watch. It’s the perfect spot to wander after your meal and soak in the history. They say Marilyn Monroe shot her first movie there and actually lived at the hotel! ✨ If you’re looking for delicious food wrapped in classic Hollywood nostalgia, Shirley at the Roosevelt is a must-visit.

I recently dined at Shirley Brasserie for a birthday dinner, and it was an exquisite culinary experience. The ambiance was charming, with soft lighting and cozy seating. We had an amazing server that gave us the full experience. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, and the food was simply outstanding. Each plate was a work of art, both visually and in terms of flavor. I highly recommend Shirley Brasserie for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

I had Thanksgiving dinner at Shirley Brasserie and it was a wonderful experience. I was flying solo for Thanksgiving as was visiting for overseas and was able to nab a seat at the bar. The set menu was $95 and there was SO MUCH food. And all of it was good. The bartenders were fun and engaging, the servers were friendly and efficient. It’s a lovely setting and being able to see the open bar and kitchen makes for a very lively environment without being noisy.

Best steak tartare ever! The French onion soup was delicious as well. I really appreciated the service.
